The sought after Maybelline and L'Oreal brand merchandise has joined Discount Wholesalers' already extensive offerings of Cover Girl cosmetics, and a wide variety of other branded and off brand health and beauty aid products. "These two brands add a higher level of product to our retailer customers," explains Saja Stark, senior sales manager of the company, based in Chester Spring, PA.

Discount Wholesalers offers merchandise at 70 to 90 percent off original retail, according to Stark. "This is brand new, first quality product," she says, and points out that these two brands add as many as 100 stock keeping units. That includes the full line of Maybelline cosmetics, such as foundation, mascara, eye shadow, etc. The full line of L'Oreal cosmetics, skin lotions, wrinkle creams and hair care products, are also covered. Stark notes that L'Oreal hair coloring is regularly advertised on television and in print, which increases retail demand.

"We can give retailers a varied assortment of these products, or shipments of all one subcategory, such as hair coloring," she says. There is no dollar minimum order requirement. The minimum is typically a case, and the number of units per case ranges from as few as 24 to as many as 250, depending on the item. "On small lot orders, we can include different items from the same brand," she adds. Wholesale unit prices range from 75 cents to $4.50, depending on the item.

When buyers log in to the Discount Wholesalers' website, they can create a profile, indicating what types of products they're most interested in. That can include the L'Oreal, Maybelline, Cover Girl branded items, along with the company's extensive lines of branded and off brand HBA. "Shipments arrive to our warehouse on a regular basis," says Stark. "We will tailor email alerts to a buyer's specified interests and needs."
