There are no minimums. Order whatever you need. While you will sell each "Profiles In Wood" Vase customized for the individual customer, why not order one for yourself, for a family member or a deserving employee?
Upon receiving your order on our Shopping Cart, we will provide easy instructions regarding sending an image of the profile you'd like customized. All you'll need is a camera and one piece of 8"x11" paper!
Once an image is received, it is sized and enhanced to reveal only the outline that will later be used to turn your "Profiles In Wood" Vase on the lathe. First comes a rough cut, which removes about half the weight of the wood block. Then the sanding process begins with an extremely coarse paper, down to 500 grit. The sanding is followed by oiling, then buffing, then a second coat of penetrating oil. The piece is sanded once again, this time with fine steel wool, then tung oiled one final time and allowed to dry overnight.
The "Profiles In Wood" Vase is now ready to be gift boxed, packaged, shipped and admired!

Select from hand crafted American Black Walnut, Medium Cherry Wood (shown) or Blonde Maple, each hand polished to a gorgeous natural luster. Additional photos of each wood will be provided to help you with your decision.
