Gift Show Grows To Largest In U.S.

Jun 1, 2011

Now entering its twelfth year, the International Gift Exposition in the Smokies, also known as the Souvenir Super Show, has become the biggest gift show in America. "Growing from only 272 booths in 2000 to well over 1,000 booths for the 2011 event, IGES/SSS has become the largest wholesale souvenir, resort and gift expo in the United States," according to Susan Mills, owner of the show. "We're proud to feature the leading exhibitors in the souvenir, resort and gift industries," she says.

The show will be held November 3-7, 2011, at the Events Center in Sevierville, TN, not far from I-75, I-40, and the airport in Knoxville. Mills points out that the show has been held successfully there since 2007, and features low costs for exhibitors. "The costs to do the show are far less than big city shows, and the buyers are plentiful," she says. "Ten truck docks and five entrance doors make it easy to set up and tear down."

Billed as "America's Souvenir Show," IGES/SSS features onsite giveaways throughout the show, including free gift bags filled with samples and coupons from participating exhibitors, to the first 200 buyers. For the convenience of attendees, complimentary morning and afternoon hotel shuttle service is available during the show, as well as complimentary evening shuttle service into Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and complimentary airport shuttles. For more information, visit the show website at iges.us, or call (800) 430-7608.
