Greenhouse Kits

May 1, 2007

FERRY-MORSE SEED COMPANY introduces Veggie Tales greenhouse kits. The units, made under license to the popular Veggie Tales learning TV shows, movies and other popular products, are in the shape of a house and offered in four different versions.

Each contains six plastic containers, peat pellets and a seed pack. The house is five inches wide, four inches deep and six inches tall, and the kit contains full instructions for planting and watering, and all show depictions of the computer animated Veggie Tales characters. Simply put the seeds in the peat pellets and watch them grow.

The four versions are cactus, vinca, sunflower and marigold. There are also 10 different kinds of Veggie Tales seed packets, each showing the popular animated vegetable characters. Among the several store displayers for the Veggie Tales greenhouses is one that holds 36 greenhouses. The top row can be removed to hold seed packets, which are also sold separately.

The minimum order is a case of 12 Veggie Tales greenhouses, and it can include a mix of all four versions. The wholesale cost is $3.06 a unit, and suggested retail price is $5.99 a unit. Sold separately, the seed packets wholesale for $1 each, and suggested retail price is $2.99 a packet.
