In its continuing efforts to provide easy one stop shopping, DP & Company, based in Bushnell, FL, has significantly expanded its product offerings and added a new website, targeted especially to smaller retailers. The new site is appropriately named www.wholesale-caselots.com.

It is designed to allow retailers to buy a mix of products by the case and provides free shipping on all case lot orders. "We always had a lot of customers call with questions about shipping costs for case loads," says Brett Eddy, VP and part owner.

"Most orders are placed in off hours," he says, and questions about shipping could inhibit buyers from ordering. "This feature adds efficiency and allows retailers to know their exact cost the moment they place an order," Eddy says. Retailers don't have to buy huge quantities of the same stock keeping unit. The website offers a variety of assorted cases and sample packs of related merchandise.

For example, a case of twenty assorted airsoft guns, each containing five pieces of four different styles, is only $27 wholesale. An airsoft sample pack containing twelve different spring powered airsoft guns and 30,000 BBs is $65. DP, which has been in business for six years, has always carried a broad assortment of tools and hard goods. Airsoft guns are just one of many new products and product categories.

Additional categories include gifts, general merchandise, a wide selection of remote control vehicles, and jewelry and accessories. "It's easier for us to calculate our shipping costs and include them in order pricing on the smaller goods," Eddy says.

For items such as tools, that retailers don't usually purchase in case lot quantities, the original website, www.dpcompany.com, is still in operation, and the two websites are linked to one another. "We hope to soon add more closeouts, specials and one time deals," says Eddy. Customers get email alerts when new shipments arrive or new products are added.
