Not only has the variety of therapeutic magnetic jewelry available from FDP Magnetics in Ocala, FL expanded dramatically, the company has also added a range of non jewelry therapy products. "They are all based on something magnetic," says Judy Lieberman, an owner.

Jewelry remains the primary focus of the company's product mix, and it includes items of stainless steel, titanium and hematite. Often these are combined with other materials, such as semi precious stones, which broadens the array of fashion options. A goal from the beginning, Lieberman says, "Was to provide fashionable jewelry that also helps improve circulation and alleviate pain."

According to Lieberman, "99 percent of the people who try it see improvements." There are more than 170 different styles of stainless steel jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, anklets and more. These typically wholesale for about $11, less on volume orders, and the suggested retail prices range from $25 to above $50.

There are now 24 different styles of titanium jewelry, and Lieberman says more are being added. Matching bracelets are available for six of the necklace styles. Titanium is very light weight. There is a magnet on every link of these pieces, and all links are epoxy sealed. The typical wholesale price is $18, and the suggested retail is $44.99 or more.

Hematite is a natural black semi precious stone that is magnetized and has extra strength. Typically, FDP Magnetics supplies it in a 36 inch lariat that has no clasp. It can be wrapped and configured into a variety of styles, which allows the wearer to design and shape the jewelry to their own wishes and needs. Hematite wholesales in a range of $4 to $10, depending on the style, and its combination with other materials and/or stones. The suggested retail, Lieberman says, "is at least double the wholesale cost."

Beyond jewelry, the company supplies ankle wraps, arm supports, neck and shoulder wraps and a variety of different knee wraps. All are of neoprene with magnets inside. The minimum order is $250, and can include any of the company's products in any quantity.
