My username and password are correct but I am unable to login to Wholesale Central.

I am trying to respond to a product locator inquiry but I am taken to the account login screen.

I uploaded an image or changed information on my profile page but I do not see the changes.

I get error messages when uploading a picture.

My images are being displayed as broken.

I get a message that says I have not met the minimum order when trying to check out of the store.

Items disappear from my shopping cart.

Q:	My username and password are correct but I am unable to login to Wholesale Central.
A:	Ensure you are choosing the correct login options. If you are selling items on our system, make sure you are use "Sellers Login" to access your account. If you are a buyer be sure to use the "Buyers Login". If you are choosing the correct login but still not able to login be sure to Enable your cookies.

I am trying to respond to a product locator inquiry but I am taken to the account manager login screen.

You must be logged in to respond to a product locator inquiry. If you are logged in and still unable to respond you will need to Enable your cookies.

If you are unable to access the email link, this could be becaue the link is too long and runs onto two lines.

Q:	*I added items to my shopping cart and when I try to check out it says I have not met the minimum order.*
A:	This may be a sign that you need to Enable your cookies.

Q:	*I uploaded a new image or changed information on my profile page but I do not see the changes.*
A:	You may need to Clear your browsers cache.

Q:	*I am trying to upload an image but I get a message that says "The requested image to upload is too large. Please select a smaller image."*
A:	You may be experiencing Image problems.

When entering an item in my store, the image appears correct but when I go into my store and view the item, it appears broken or as an X.

If you saw the image when you uploaded it through the item entry then that means the image will be there, in time. It may take up to an hour for the image to replicate through our servers.

Also, be sure that there are no spaces in your image name.

How to Enable Cookies

If you are unable to add items to the shopping cart, you may have to enable cookies.

The instructions below give you specific information on how to enable cookies to work with our site. Please scroll down for the specific browser version that you are using. You can see what version of web browser you are using by clicking the Help tab on the toolbar at the top and then clicking on "About."

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+

Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.

Click on the "Privacy" tab.

Move the slider bar down so it says "Low". Click "Apply" and then "Ok".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x

Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
Click on the "Security" tab.
Click the "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to the "Cookies" section

To enable:
Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
Click "OK".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x

Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.

To enable:
Select "Always accept cookies".
Click "OK".

Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)

Go to the "Tools" menu.
Select "Options".
Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel.

Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies".
Click "OK" to save changes.

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0

Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.

Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
Select "Enable all cookies".
Click "OK".

Netscape Communicator 4.x

Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.

To enable:
Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
Click "OK".

Clearing browser cache

Running out of disk space? Can't stop your browser from loading an out-of-date page or an image?
One of the answers to all of the above questions may be to clear your browser's cache. Almost all web browsers maintain a local copy of web pages and other related items on your disk or memory to speedup reloading of previously visited pages from the Internet. This time saver may get bigger and slower over long periods of time. If this is causing problems, try clearing your browser cache as follows.

1. Open your Web browser
2.Click on TOOLS in your toolbar and select "Internet Options"
3.Under the GENERAL tab, go down to "Temporary Internet Files" and click on "Delete Files".
4.When given the warning "Delete all items in temporary internet files folder?", select YES.
5.Before you exit from "Internet Options", you may choose to change your "Temporary Internet Files" Settings so that your browser will always have to look for the most recent version of a page. To do this, click on the SETTINGS button and change your settings to a setting that is comfortable for you.
6.Close and restart your browser.

1. Open your Web browser
2. In the menubar, select EDIT and then Preferences
3. Under CATEGORY, click on the + sign next to ADVANCED.
4. Click on CACHE
5. On the right side of the Preferences box, the CACHE options now appear. Click on the button/s for MEMORY &/or DISK CACHE (whether you have one or two buttons will vary, depending on what your Internet connection is).
6. When given the warning "This will remove all files in your cache. Continue?", select OK.
7. Click on OK again to close the PREFERENCES box.
8. Close and restart your browser.

Image Problems

IMAGE SIZES
There are two types of sizes when referring to an image's size. There is the physical size which means how big the image appears (ex: 3 inches wide by 2 inches high) Then there is the file size of the image which refers to the amount of space it takes up on a disk. (ex. the file is 45B "bytes", 20K "kilobytes", or 1MB "megabytes".)
Note: The physical size of the file you choose does not have any effect on the uploading of a image to your store, but it is the file size that must be under 30KB to ensure fast loading of your image when a visitor accesses your store.

HOW TO FIND THE SIZE OF AN IMAGE
WINDOWS: Find the image file on your computer you wish to upload. Click once with the left mouse button to highlight file, then right click the mouse on the file and select Properties.
MACINTOSH: Find the image file on your computer you wish to upload. Click once to highlight file, then press the Apple key and the letter "I" key at the same time.

FOR BEST RESULTS..
Thumbnails: should be saved at 72 dpi, have a maximum dimension of 100 pixels x 100 pixels, and be under 10K in file size. Images that are much larger will result in longer download times and could distort your item listing tables.
Full Images: should be saved at 72 dpi, have a maximum dimension of 300 pixels x 300 pixels, and be under 30K in file size. Images that are much larger will result in longer download times which discourages buyers from shopping in your store.
