The patent-pending product can be used in many different ways, Grandadam shares. “There is a clip on the back of the light so you can attach it to your pocket, and it also has a magnet so you can stick it on a refrigerator. The product is six inches long and 1.5 inches wide, and opens to almost a foot so it can be placed on a table to use as a desk lamp. Mechanics put it on the tire well or shine it on a car engine, and it can be used as an outdoor deck light. It’s the perfect light for anyone in any situation.”
Promier’s 36 LED flip light wholesales for $5 and retails for $9.99. A point of purchase display holds 16 pieces, and shipping is free with the purchase of one case of six displays. The product case is seven inches wide and has a window on the side so customers can sample the light and see its many features. “Space in stores is limited and expensive, and retailers are looking for products that will appeal to everyone. This product does,” Grandadam points out.
To meet the burgeoning interest in LED lights, the company recently opened an office in China, where it works on product design, and expanded its Peru, IL, warehouse to 200,000 square feet. In addition, the company hired an international sales manager, Cal Garcia to support expanding sales in both Puerto Rico and Mexico. “We’re trying to make everyone’s lives a little brighter,” Grandadam notes. “Everybody needs light, and in Puerto Rico they didn’t even have LED lights, just the old style bulbs.” Promier Products also are available in the Philippines and in Canada, as well as in the continental U.S. Furthermore, the company is launching a new, interactive wholesale website early this year which will have 3D product images.
