Gypsy Rose is many things but at its heart it is a bridge that connects people all over the world, including the USA, by supporting cottage industries, small family businesses, traditional artisans and fair wages for workers. And supporting these small businesses helps to keep the traditional artisan practices alive and appreciated worldwide. It is no secret that we are very environmentally conscious as well. This can be seen in many of the ways we do business. From designing gear made from recycled corduroy, tweed, and velvet, to printing our catalog on recycled paper with soy-based inks, to using Eco-friendly office supplies, we stand true to our beliefs of caring for this planet. We are huge advocates of utilizing the versatile hemp plant, and of organic farming of food & fibers.

Most of our products are Hand-Made by people, not mass produced by robots! Our merchandise is made from recycled corduroy, tweed, velvet, hemp, recycled sari, Eco-friendly fabrics. Thousands of people benefit from jobs producing and selling our products.
