The Consumer Electronics Association's (CEA) 2012 International CES will be held January 10th to 13th in Las Vegas, NV, with over 2,700 exhibitors from 140 countries showcasing innovative products and ideas in 1.6 million square feet of exhibit space. The CES is expected to attract more than 140,000 attendees, with over 20,000 product launches in the fields of 3D, mobile DTV, tablets, apps, connected TVs, embedded Internet, green technology and more. Thanks to an exclusive partnership with the CEA, Spike TV will telecast live coverage from the event. Through the introduction of CES All Access Live, technology fans will have the ability to watch more than 12 hours of coverage across TV, online, mobile, and social platforms.New events at the 2012 show include:
Keynote speakers will include Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, who will deliver a pre-show keynote address on Jan. 9; Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, Chairman and CEO of Qualcomm; Dieter Zetche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars; Paul Otellini, President and CEO of Intel Corporation; and Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson Group.
The 2012 event also marks the second year of the CES Innovation Power Panel, with Xerox Chairman and CEO, Ursula Burns, Verizon President and CEO, Lowell McAdam, and Ford Motor Company President and CEO, Alan Mulally.
