All of the articles you read in Web Wholesaler Magazine can now be found conveniently online in the "Wholesale News and Article Archive," on Wholesalecentral.com. Launched last month, the archive has already proven to be a tremendous information resource for wholesalers and retailers. With just a few mouse clicks, you can get current industry news, product announcements, supplier profiles, business strategies, and more.

Years Worth of Insight
The article archive carries only original stories and features, most of which were published in the five monthly print magazines produced by Wholesalecentral.com's parent company, Sumner Communications. In addition to Web Wholesaler, Sumner Communications publishes Cover Magazine and Western, Midwest and East Coast Merchandiser. Sumner has been publishing trade magazines serving independent retailers and wholesalers since 1988, making it the dominant editorial force within the general merchandise industry. The archive also carries articles written expressly for Wholesalecentral.com.

Currently, all of the stories from the 2007 issues of the five monthly trade magazines are accessible from the archive. Each month, new articles appearing in the current issues will be posted, and the plan is to backfill the archive with articles from the previous several years. Since the archive will be updated frequently, retailers should place the site in their browser bookmarks to make it easy for quick viewing and research.

Wholesalers should bookmark the archive too, in order to keep current on their industry. Of special interest to wholesalers and retailers alike is the monthly feature called, "Web Wholesaler of the Month," which describes how different wholesalers are solving common industry problems and succeeding both online and offline.

Search Tips
Point your browser to www.wholesalecentral.com/Wholesale-News and you will see how easy it is to find articles on just about any industry-related topic. The home page of the archive lists all of the most recent articles for easy access. The left side of the page provides a table of contents with links to every topic, such as "Wholesale News", "New Products", "Business Strategies" and more. Within each topic, articles are listed chronologically, with the most recent first.

Readers can also click on any year and get a list of all articles in that year, sorted by month and topic. Often readers are looking for an article that they read in a past issue but they are not sure exactly which issue. Now readers can quickly scan all articles in a certain time period, and zoom in on the article from a chronological perspective.

Finally, a search box at the top of the page allows readers to search by keyword. They can either search the entire archive, or narrow their search to a particular topic. Looking for more information on a particular company or product? Just enter the company or product name. The archive is filled with articles about leading wholesalers, as well as reviews of the products they carry. Interested in finding out more information about a business topic? Enter a business term like "taxes" or "internet fraud" or "email marketing" or "merchandising" and you will be sure to find valuable, professionally written articles on the topic. Readers can even enter an author's name and find all articles written by that author.

No membership is required to access the News and Article Archive. The archive is one of the many free services that Wholesalecentral.com provides to the wholesale and retail industry.
