"We are introducing several new and innovative designs and styles for 2009," says Roy Robertson, importing and marketing director.

New for this year is the US-SONIC-500. "It is based on the design of our best selling model, the US-TNT-PRO. The SONIC-500 is a 500 gram digital scale with 1/10th of a gram accuracy. This pocket scale has several high priced features, such as the removable stainless steel weighing tray, and the EasyCal, one button calibration method," Robertson explains. It has a wholesale price of $5.49, and there are quantity price breaks, he adds.

"We frequently reach out to our customers and ask them what features and designs they feel are needed in a digital scale," Robertson says. "We then work closely with our factories in China to create new and exciting designs with our customers in mind."

This year, the company also plans to release three to four new pocket and table top designs, according to Robertson. "All of our scales are designed in-house and sent over to our factories in China. We work very closely with our Chinese partners in the manufacturing process. We regularly visit and inspect our factories to insure that quality is the first priority. This is how we can maintain a near zero return rate."
