DIAMONEL CORPORATION has been a worldwide supplier of one of the most extensive selections of its own Diamonel brand cubic zirconia jewelry for 15 years. It utilizes a process that most closely replicates the fire and brilliance of a genuine diamond, and offers all shapes and sizes in all jewelry categories.
The company's number one product continues to be stud earrings in a choice of any diamond shape, from the largest to the smallest, in a range of settings, including 10KT to 14KT gold, sterling silver and silver plate. The classic stud earring is, "like a watch," says Marc Klein, Diamonel's president. "It's an integral part of nearly every woman's wardrobe."
The company has a minimum order of $100, and it can include an assortment of products, including all styles of Diamonel and synthetic birth stone jewelry. It also provides sets that contain earrings and a matching pendant, and will also sell loose stones.
Packaged programs are a particular specialty. For example, it provides a package containing 72 pair of best selling cubic zirconia shapes and sizes, each gift boxed, for a wholesale price of $126. Another assortment of 72 pairs of boxed earrings, set in sterling silver, wholesales for $162. Other packages of top sellers provide cubic zirconia earrings for as little as $1 a pair, wholesale.
Diamonel has participated in a variety of promotions, including gift with purchase programs, linked to such fragrances as White Diamond. It joined with Major League Baseball in developing a program that offered earrings for Mother's Day, and it linked up with Spic and Span for a sweepstakes in which each box of detergent contained one of its CZs, while an occasional box contained a real diamond.
Diamonel works with its retailer customers to develop packages and merchandising programs that meet specific market needs and price levels.
