PHAZZER.COM introduces The Phazzer, an electronic control self defense device that immobilizes an attacker. Once triggered, it incapacitates an attacker's neuro muscular system and puts the culprit down within two to five seconds. The Phazzer is about five inches long, about the size of an electric razor, and can fit in a pocket or purse. When activated, it releases two dart projectiles, each of which delivers 80,000 volts via a pair of insulated wires that are 15 feet long. The darts are propelled by compressed nitrogen, and they have a barb that stays on the target's clothing, even if the attacker moves.
The shock lasts for approximately seven seconds, and the unit has a control that can be hit again if necessary. The voltage is low in comparison with stun guns, and the amperage (at 2.5 amperes) is higher. It delivers about 15 pulses per second.
The Phazzer has the stopping power of a 9mm handgun, but it is not considered a firearm and is lawful in almost all states and municipalities. The unit includes a red laser light to ensure the shooter's accuracy, and it also has a flashlight, making it easy to use in the dark. The darts are approximately 9mm long, and, while they break the skin, they leave no harmful burns. The small barb ensures that they won't rip out.
The minimum order is a dozen units, and the wholesale cost is $189. The suggested retail is $299. The company will provide retailers with marketing documents, and dropship direct to consumers.
