The company recently added first quality name brand apparel, reports Kim Foltz, owner. "Within the past six months to a year," Foltz says, "we've been successful in adding more 'virgin goods'." They are first quality merchandise that the company obtains directly from manufacturers and retailers.
"Our buyers can take this apparel right out of the shipment, hang it on hangers and sell it," says Foltz. Some are packaged and some are not, but none is ripped or torn.
Minimum order requirements vary according to the particular product, but many items wholesale for as little as 75 cents a unit. As an example, Foltz says on a minimum order of between 1,000 and 5,000 designer jeans, the wholesale price is about $1.50 a unit. Retailers can sell them for $12 a unit and still make a hefty profit.
Wholesale Unlimited offers mixes of men's and women's clothing in a range of colors and sizes. There are boys' golf shirts and other top selling items. As with most closeouts, some shipments come with a detailed manifest while others summarize contents.
More building supplies have been added by Wholesale Unlimited. This category includes first quality tile and hardwood flooring. New "hot items" are always featured on the website. These have included everything from sinks to appliances and four wheelers for adults and kids.
Despite expanding categories, the company continues to carry a rich assortment of housewares and hardware.
