Golden Triangle Adds LA Show

Jul 1, 2007

With years of experience in hosting fashion jewelry and accessory trade shows in Greensboro, NC and Orlando, FL, Golden Triangle Show Inc. has added Los Angeles to its roster. LA Jewelers Expo at CMC (California Market Center), an all new cash and carry addition to the long running California Gift Show, is scheduled July 20-23.

It will be located within the penthouse floor of the California Market Center. "The California Gift Show has been in successful operation for 30 years, and we saw underserved demand for a wholesale, immediate delivery addition," says Bobby Siddiqui, owner of Golden Triangle Show.

LA Jewelers Expo at CMC will add between 250 and 300 exhibitors to the California Gift Show base and lure approximately 10,000 visitor/buyers, he says, to the existing approximately 100,000 who attend this show twice a year. Golden Triangle Show will also host LA Jewelers Expo at CMC in January 2008, in conjunction with the January California Gift Show.

Exhibitors in this important new section are major importers and manufacturers that, "Offer a style and selection all their own," according to Siddiqui. They wholesale everything from diamonds to gold, the latest in sterling silver, fashion jewelry, handbags and accessories, all ready for retailers to restock with fresh product and new ideas.

Golden Triangle Show has mailed more than 100,000 invitations to wholesale buyers in anticipation of the July show and advertised it in targeted trade magazines. It provides exhibitors with a host of marketing programs.

This expertise is based on its experience with the Greensboro and Orlando shows. GTS' Greensboro Expo takes place four times a year at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The remainder of the 2007 calendar includes August 4-6, October 6-8 and December 1-3. The fourth show was held March 17-19.

This event has been in operation for six years, and Siddiqui says it typically attracts 300 exhibitors of jewelry, apparel and gifts, and draws about 8,000 visitor/buyers. The Greensboro shows are strictly wholesale, for cash and carry, immediate delivery.

GTS' Florida Jewelers Expo takes place three times a year at the Osceola Heritage Park-Exhibition Hall in Kissimmee. This show has been in operation for the past two years. Siddiqui says it draws about 150 exhibitors and attracts more than 3,000 visitor/buyers. The remaining 2007 dates are September 22-24 and December 7-9. This year's earlier Florida show was March 24-26.

All GTS shows include professional seminars. Siddiqui says, "I've been in the jewelry business all my life as both a manufacturer and a retailer. I saw the need for these kinds of cash and carry exhibitions, and time has proven that to be the case."

This show includes: At Home, Beader's Gallery, Boutique, Ex-tracts, Fashion Accessories, Gifts Etc., Handmade, Jewelry Cash & Carry, LA Contemporary, Resort, Souvenir & Licensing, Stationery & More, and World Style.
