"Backed by the valuable insight from our exhibitors and attendees, we determined that in today's economy, holding three smaller regional shows in such close proximity on an annual basis does not serve the purpose it once did," said Chris McCabe, Vice President of Nielsen Business Media's Merchandise Group. "In order to best serve our customers' business needs, we decided to discontinue ASD Atlantic City and produce one major annual event in New York, during our traditional September time slot."
